Growing up as a queer kid on the small, conservative Greek island of Cyprus, George Lizos realized that he had to choose between trying (and failing) to fit into unjust social standards, or to focus on becoming more authentically himself. Choosing the latter, he eventually became a pagan priest, and devoted his life to learning protection magick - a technique for taking our lives back from dominant ideologies and living into our authentic selves.
